PRIVATE CHARACTER EDITOR KEYBOARD HOW TO
I am not familiar with Private Character Editor neither, it is hard to find what is the culprit that cased your current issue.īut I found this article about how to Create Your Own Characters with Private Character Editor.Īccording to my test, it works on my side, I am able to View the Custom Character using Character Map as shown blew. Unfortunately, that only returns a box- apparently meaning there's nothing assigned to that key-code.īased on your description, you are trying to access a character that created using Private Character Editor (PCE), right? And yes, I am aware that I could have done Alt+2104 to get the character. Not sure if this will help, but here's the character, and the PCE window. Sadly, I'm not able to figure out how to access it. I'm ASSUMING/HOPING that my special character is located in the middle of that. I do have "advanced view" checked.įor example, I've noticed that the Unicode characters jump from A78C to FB01. When I type in E000 I get an entirely different character. I've checked the character map, and have not been able to locate does anyone know how I can access the special character that I'd created using PCE? I have looked online, and what I've found says I should be able to locate it using the character map.
I did select Arial Normal as my font of choice. Not sure why, but I'd thought it was a font file. In doing a search on my C drive for the EUDC file, I get no file found. I'm actually trying to figure out how I can access a character I'd created using Private Character Editor (PCE). This however has nothing to do with Office 2013. Not sure if this is the right place, but I am using win7Pro, Office 2013.
